Cian O'Brien, Artistic Director at Project Arts Centre, meets Sugarglass Theatre for a post show talk about their production Tender Napalm following the performance on Tuesday 4 December.

Digital media is now a ubiquitous part not only of daily life but also of live performance. This blending of the live and the 'not-so-live' brings enormous opportunities to artists working on stage but also requires them to start asking new critical questions of their work.

To mark the opening of the exhibition Raivo Puusemp – Dissolution, Project Arts Centre is delighted to welcome curator Krist Gruijthuijsen to Dublin. On Thursday 8 November at 5pm, he will host a walk-through tour of the gallery, speaking about the development of the ideas behind the exhibition, the processes involved in researching and developing the show, and the wider practice of participating artists Raivo Puusemp (EE/US) and Ben Kinmont (US).

Composer Brian Bridges will present a survey of Glenn Branca’s early guitar ensembles through to the harmonic series and non-harmonic series symphonies, discussing the ‘Downtown’ context and of Branca’s music and his significance to the new music scene. The talk will include audio examples, documentary footage and an informal opportunity to ask questions.
