As a shared experiment between institutions, IMMA and Project Arts Centre are establishing a network of artists and cultural workers, across disciplines, to come together for conversations about practice, process, and collaboration.

Initiated by visual artist, researcher and amateur plant breeder Åsa Sonjasdotter, in collaboration with practitioners involved in multispecies cultivation, Peace with the Earth revisits histories of agriculture. A long-term enquiry, the project investigates soil, habitat and dwelling histories, in order to challenge and transform long-established cultural narratives of cultivation and ecological thinking.

Project Arts Centre hosts the second chapter of the Active Archive – Slow Institution project, an extensive research initiative that delves into Project’s 50+year history, looking at the imagined futures and proposals for transformation recorded in Project Arts Centre’s archives.

Irina Gheorghe presents two performances, each long-term explorations of the idea of the unobservable in scientific research.

Screening of a series of late Soviet animated films, directed by women and produced by the most significant state-run animation studio USSR SOYUZMULTFILM. Curated and introduced by Nat Schastneva, independent researcher and trans artivist.
