Irina Gheorghe presents two performances, each long-term explorations of the idea of the unobservable in scientific research.

Initiated by visual artist, researcher and amateur plant breeder Åsa Sonjasdotter, in collaboration with practitioners involved in multispecies cultivation, Peace with the Earth revisits histories of agriculture. A long-term enquiry, the project investigates soil, habitat and dwelling histories, in order to challenge and transform long-established cultural narratives of cultivation and ecological thinking.

This tour will begin at Project Arts Centre with an introduction to our current exhibition Wait it Out by Northern Irish artist Sandra Johnston. Visitors will then be guided to the next venue, Gallery of Photography Ireland and will finish at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.

Post-dance is the second performance and lecture event researched and developed by the Dublin based performance art researcher Sara Muthi.

Anna Daučíková’s practice addresses issues around the conflicting aspects of normativity, the technologies of power, queer subjectivity and the politics of privacy.

Live Collision has partnered with Berlin Opticians Gallery to co-present this once off event. ‘No Feeling Is Final’ is an interdisciplinary experiment inclusive of two new paintings by Lee Welch created for LCIF2019, and existing artworks by Liliane Puthod.

Consisting of two main parts, 'Wait it Out' negotiates personal and historical narratives in relation to the reverberation of sectarian violence in Northern Ireland. The work reflects upon the indeterminate early days of the peace process and the climate of unease which motivated Johnston to relocate to Dublin in 1997.
