Project Arts Centre are delighted to announce the recipient of the Future Forecast WORKSPACE Commission, Ciara Murnane.

Ciara Murnane is a Dublin based Set and Interior Designer. With her background in Architecture, she has a keen interest in creating high functioning spaces which draw their form from the use by the end space user. She currently works in Web Summit as their Event Drafting Technician while she completes her Higher Diploma in Interior Design with the Irish Design Institute.

Previous projects include; Jam Park Airside Swords, The Lighthouse Dun Laoghaire, ‘Ulysess’ The Abbey Theatre (Associate Designer),  ‘Disco Pigs and Sucking Dublin’ Reality Check Productions, ‘Dummy’, ‘Close to the Sun’ and ‘Coast’ Dublin Fringe Festival productions, ‘Minding Frankie’ The Gaiety Theatre and ‘Happy Birthday Jacob’ The New Theatre.

WORKSPACE is an opportunity for an artist, architect or designer to design and build a new artist workspace studio in our Cube space.

For 20 years the Cube has been a space where artists and audiences meet, now it will temporarily become a space solely for artists, a space of practice and innovation. Shortly, Project will launch the FLUX Residency, which will be a space of experimentation and collaboration.
