GHOSTS

Tickets: €18/€16
Show Time: 7.45pm (50min)

‘Sometimes the scariest stories are the ones we tell ourselves’

Ghosts is a one-person storytelling theatre piece for adults. Several different stories spanning childhood fears to the anxieties of adulthood are woven together with Greek myths and ghostly tales to create a uniquely engaging, frightening and relatable experience.

Mysterious projections and soundscapes carry the audience seamlessly from claustrophobic bedrooms to the vast halls of Hades with horror and heartbreak in between.

Press

“From the childhood bedroom to the young adults shared house, to the elder years and to much in the middle, this work is powerful and it is enthralling”

“The simple stage-setting with just a ‘quilt cover’ as a prop worked superbly.”

‘Gemma Walker-Farren performs this beautifully and brilliantly. It’s so well crafted and acted in a way we are forced to look at ourselves… an interesting and therapeutic piece of theatre. It’s different and it’s very real…you might just learn something about yourself’ (North West Culture Gal blog, 2022)

“Storytelling with intensity, subtlety, and wit.” (Derry Journal, 2022)
