Environmental Justice Questions Workshop with Artist Harun Morrison at Dublin Port:

Which song reminds you of the collapse of our planet? Whose fantasies are we living in? Environmental Justice Questions is a compilation of questions for discussion and debate.

Harun Morrison is an artist and writer currently living on the UK inland waterways. He is currently  an associate artist with Greenpeace UK. His forthcoming novel, The Escape Artist will be published by Book Works.

Recent group exhibitions include Sonic Acts 2024: The Spell of The Sensuous, Amsterdam Chronic Hunger, Chronic Desire in Timișoara, Romania and BALATORIUM Disturbed Waters, in Veszprém, Hungary as part of the European Capital of Culture 2023 programme and Storm Warning: What does climate change mean for coastal communities? at Focal Point / Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange, UK. Recent solo exhibitions include, Dolphin Head Mountain at the Horniman Museum, London (2022 -23), Mark The Spark at Nieuwe Vide project space in Haarlem, Netherlands (2022) and Experiments with Everyday Objects, Eastside Projects, Birmingham, (2021).  Harun is currently co-developing community gardens in Merseyside for Bootle Library and Mind Sheffield, a mental health support service, as part of the Arts Catalyst research project, Emergent Ecologies.

This event is part of Live Collision International Festival 2024.

Accessibility

Live Collision is committed to creating safe spaces for our audience to access the festival with ease and comfort. With this in mind, we welcome audience members who wish to remain masked during events.

At the request of the Artists, we will be hosting two masked events to create an accessible space for those who are immunocompromised. However, we understand that some people cannot wear masks for a variety of reasons and we want to assure our audience that this will not affect your ability to attend any of our events. Masks will be available at the festival free of charge.

These events include:

LAKE BURST – The Bureau of Speculative Archaeology Thursday 25th at 7pm / The Bureau of Speculative Archaeology Friday 26th at 1pm and  BLACKMAGICRAWR on Friday 26th April at 7pm.

Other accessible events will include:

An ISL interpreted performance of BLACKMAGICRAWR on Friday 26th April at 7pm (concession tickets available) and live captioning of Vitoria : Buraco on Friday 26th April at 9pm (concession tickets also available).
