WINNER: Best of the Spiegeltent Dublin Fringe Festival 2004
‘…this latest exploration and celebration of a new and, not so long ago, utterly unimaginable and entirely enjoyable Ireland.’
The Irish Times
The Award-winning Fallen Angels is an evening of cabaret and comedy on the raw, subversive side of respectability; a celebration of the creative spirit; a carnival of quirkiness and wickedness; a cabaret circus of the fabulous. Think Cabaret (the musical), think Monty Python, think The Muppet Show – all in a sexy, burlesque style with cutting edge humour.
Set in a smoky, seedy basement club, The Fallen Angels Cabaret is presented by the flagrant, singing and comedic Mistress of Ceremonies, Rose Lawless, rich-girl-gone-wrong. Accompanied by the evil Monsieur Robes, musical composer and pianist, Rose seduces the audience with her wanton ways, inviting them to indulge themselves in their (and her!) fantasies.
Don’t miss all of this and much more at this fabulous feast of cabaret entertainment!
‘A complete menagerie of anarchistic and of animal, of cabaret and circus and… of comedian’ (sic)
‘A classy night out with a difference’
