Before Stonewall, a landmark in queer history on film, charts the modern gay liberation movement from the 1920s onwards. An extraordinary work of archival research incorporating rare footage and a dazzling line up of interviewees presented on the eve of the 40th Anniversary of the Stonewell riots.
