Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2017

Inner City Helping Homeless collected over 7,500 shoeboxes during their Dublin Fill a Luas appeal last Christmas. We want this year to be even bigger and we need your help.

Christmas is fast approaching, and while the festive season is a time of celebration for most of us, it can also be a tough time for many people, not least the homeless community. Here in Temple Bar we’re acutely aware of the hardships faced by people who sleep rough on our streets, and with record increases in homelessness this year, now, more than ever, they need our help.

Following the generosity of our staff, friends and patrons last year, we’re once again taking part in the annual Christmas shoebox appeal, a charity appeal organised by Inner City Helping Homeless.

The Project team will be donating shoeboxes full of essential items and small gifts, here’s how you can be a part of it

  • Get a shoebox and mark it ‘male’ or ‘female’. If it’s for a child please also mark it with an age.
  • Fill the shoebox with essentials such as hats, gloves, scarves, socks, underwear, toiletries, or treats like books and chocolate. (Please, no aerosols, hand sanitiser, mouth wash, razors, perfume or after-shave).
  • Deliver your shoebox to us here at Project Arts Centre from 27th November to 13th December.

If you have any questions, email us at box-office@pac.dev.perpetualdigital.ie or give us a call on 01 8819613.
