SECRET SONGS: DECEMBER 2015

Tickets: 11

Doors: 7.30pm
First act: 8.15pm
Secret Songs is a series of gigs that celebrate hidden gems, forgotten classics and obscure anthems.
December’s gig will have a little flavour of Christmas and the line-up features:
Mark Greaney (JJ72)
Jet Setter
Roy Duffy (Squarehead)
Samyel

Mark Greaney (JJ72)
Mark Greaney is an Irish songwriter, best known as the lead singer and guitarist of both JJ72 and Concerto For Constantine.  This will be his only solo show of 2015, and he’s got a lot of tricks up his sleeve…

Jet Setter
Expect the jangle of the 60’s, the warmth of the 70’s, the snarl of the 80’s and the ennui of the 90’s from Jet Setter. Catch them here at Project before they set off to support Girl Band on a 2016 tour.
“This four-piece understands that sometimes all you wanna hear is a really f***ing good guitar” Noisey

Roy Duffy (Squarehead)
Roy Duffy is the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter of Dublin garage-pop band, Squarehead. The band have released two albums with another on the way, through Any Other City Records, a label run by Villagers drummer, James Byrne.

Samyel
Having grown up in France, Samyel is heavily influenced by Latin music, from Tropicália to Freak Folk; Serge Gainsbourg to Devendra Banhart. He has worked on albums with artists such as Cathy Davey, Lisa Hannigan and Villagers.
