Revolutionary Texts a series of reading which aim to draw attention to plays from the late 1980s and 1990s, that are political in content and experimental in form which might be unfamiliar to our younger audience members.  Four such plays will be given public readings and directed by some of Ireland’s best emerging talent.
Love-Child was written in response to the famous x-case, when a young girl who became pregnant following a rape, was refused permission to travel to England for an abortion and after the scandal surrounding Bishop Eamonn Casey’s secret son.

This event is free but ticketed. Tickets will be issued on a first come first served basis on the day of the event.
