Beta Festival announced as a Project Arts Centre Associate Festival
Beta Festival is Ireland’s annual festival of art and technology, critically exploring how emerging technologies shape society through exhibitions, performances, workshops, and debate. Operating across both artistic practice and public engagement, Beta brings together artists, researchers, technologists, policymakers, and audiences to examine issues including AI, digital ethics, ecology, immersive media, and networked culture.
Founded by Aisling Murray and The Digital Hub and with ADAPT Research Centre as research partner, Beta has rapidly become a central platform for digital and new media art in Ireland. Beyond the annual festival, it supports year-round artist development, European collaborations, research partnerships, and public programmes such as the AI Art Assembly, The F Word and Ethics Studio.
Beta Festival is co-founded by The Digital Hub and is a Project Arts Centre Associate Festival with ADAPT Research Centre as research partner.
