Discover: Disrupt Opening Event
A curated opening event featuring the premiere of ‘Uncouth’ by Moss Russell, a screening of ‘Let Go’ by Louise Bruton and the launch of exhibitions by Mimi Seery, Brendan Lonergan and Elena Horgan.
‘Unveiled’ by Max Whelan
Based on his own experiences as a non-speaker, Max Whelan’s brilliant, searing debut play brims with humour and heart. ‘Unveiled’ is unapologetically political, challenging assumptions and demanding a new approach to communication and education.
‘The Arc of A Heart Shaped Curve’ by Sighile Hennessy and Cindy Cummings
‘The Arc of a Heart Shaped Curve’ is a new dance piece performed by Sighile Hennessy and Cindy Cummings. Directed by Steve Batts, with live music by Dave Boyd, the work moves with a patient rhythm that takes a path into the deep connection of friendship. Allow your body clock to be set to slow and let the honest meeting of two hearts draw you in.
Disrupt Closing Party: ISL Disco with Sarah-Jane O’Regan
The party of the year has arrived. Disrupt are delighted to present music and Irish Sign Language icon Sarah-Jane O’Regan.
