The Board of Project Arts Centre is proud to announce the appointment of Monica Flood to the position of Chair.
Speaking on her appointment, Monica says:
“I am honoured and privileged to take up the position of Chair of Project Arts Centre. Together with Executive Director, Orla Moloney and our excellent team we look forward to continuing to promote and support exceptional creative endeavour and opportunity in contemporary arts practice in Ireland. It is a particularly exciting time to take up this role as we look forward to welcoming our new Artistic Director, Sophie Motley, to Project Arts Centre later this summer.“
Monica Flood is an honours graduate in Business Studies from the University of Limerick. Monica developed a software development and technology training company Olas which, after 25 years, was sold to the French public company Assima plc. Since 2007, Monica acts as a Lead Entrepreneur on the ‘Going for Growth’ initiative which is supported by Enterprise Ireland and KPMG. This initiative supports female led companies who are growing their businesses through interactive round table mentoring, facilitated by a Lead Entrepreneur. Monica is a former President of the Institute of Management Consultants. She served on the Board of The Model in Sligo for 5 years and is currently on the Board of the Hugh Lane Municipal Gallery in Dublin.
