COVID-19: Attendance Guidelines & Safety Information

Following government guidelines, Project Arts Centre has reopened its doors!

We look forward to welcoming you back to the big blue building 💙

We’ve taken every precaution to ensure your visit will be safe, straightforward and comfortable. If further government guidance arises, we’ll keep our information updated as to how it might affect your visit.

Please check the information below regularly before your visit to ensure you have the latest updates:

Visitor Guidelines

The Gallery

Slots for attending the gallery must be booked through the exhibition's page. Mask wearing is required for the duration of your visit, as well as hand hygiene guidelines laid out below.

Hours

Our Box Office phonelines are open from 11am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday. To attend the Gallery or any performances in the building, you will need to book a free ticket through the event listing on our website. In booking a ticket to the gallery, you will select a time slot for your attendance.

Arrival at Project Arts Centre

We would ask you to follow the advice you’re given when booking regarding your time of arrival.

We will be in touch with ticket-holders prior to your visit if there are any further updates. Please keep an eye on your emails, including spam and clutter folders, to ensure you don’t miss anything.

Face Masks

We require that both our staff and the public wear facemasks in all public spaces, including during performances.  Please make sure you wear yours from before entering the building until after leaving the building. You can find the HSE’s latest updates on face masks and coverings here.

Hygiene

Hand sanitiser must be used on entry to the building and again before entering the lift. Hand sanitiser stations will be clearly marked on all levels.

Visitors must follow hygiene protocols including respiratory and handwashing hygiene. The latest information regarding these protocols will be signposted throughout the building, including handwashing guidance on display in the bathrooms.

Belongings

If you are visiting Project you must keep your belongings with you; no belongings can be left at Box Office or at any location in the building.

For health and safety reasons, Project staff cannot store any item left behind so please keep a close eye on your things while you are here. Project takes no responsibility for belongings lost or left behind after your visit.

Please check that you have all your personal belongings with you on leaving the gallery as the venue cannot be responsible once you leave the building.

Bathrooms

The accessible bathroom will be available for those who require it. If you have access requirements for your attendance at Project or require any further information or assistance for your visit, please contact us at access@projectartscentre.ie or call 01 8819 613 and we’ll work with you to make sure your needs are met throughout your time with us. You can find all the latest information on our Accessibility here.

Patrons Experiencing COVID-19 Symptoms

Visitors must not enter the PAC building if experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19. If you’re feeling unwell or experiencing any symptoms, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 within two weeks of your visit, we ask that you follow government guidelines by remaining at home and self-isolating.

If you are unable to attend an event booked through Project Arts Centre due to experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you get in contact with our box office team ASAP either via box-office@projectartscentre.ie or by phoning at 01 8819 613.

If any visitor becomes sick while at Project, please notify a member of staff immediately. An isolation space will be made available until arrangements can be made for you to contact your GP or the HSE before going home to self-isolate.

Further Queries and Guidance

If you have any further questions or uncertainty about the practicalities and safety of your visit, please be assured that we’re here to answer them, providing you with a smooth, straightforward and stress-free return to Project. For any concerns or clarifications, you can direct your questions to box-office@projectartscentre.ie or by phone to 01 8819 613.

If you have any complaints following your visit to Project about how we are handling COVID-19 procedures, please contact our General Manager Orla via orla@projectartscentre.ie

Rest assured that our Front of House staff will be fully up to speed when you’re in the building and will be happy to provide guidance on these issues during your visit.
