Jessie Thompson receives the
We are delighted to announce our commitment of support to Jessie Thompson, a recipient of the (DAIR) 2025/26 from The Arts Council of Ireland, in partnership with Project Arts Centre & Dublin City Council.
Jessie is currently undergoing an exciting body of work, building a network of young women across the city and surrounding areas through dance and arts engagement, international exchange, live performance, open floor opportunities and community projects.
The DAIR award is resourcing Jessie to deliver meaningful and impactful work with professional and pre-professional dance artists, as well as community and youth groups and collaborators across Dublin city and surrounding areas. The work will have a focus on strengthening a network of women exploring empowerment and autonomy through dance.
We look forward to expanding our shared existing audiences with Jessie by engaging with and presenting to new audiences throughout the programme.
This work is funded by the Arts Council and Dublin City Council, with additional support from Dublin Fringe Festival.
