Thomas Hauert’s acclaimed work has a strong relationship with music. His new solo responds to Monteverdi’s Si dolce è’l tormento, a musical poem of impossible love. It explores that exquisitely painful conflict - the bliss of pursuing an ideal and the torment of knowing that it is always unreachable.
Aurora
How much of who we are comes from within, and how much is determined by society’s norms? Delving deeper into these questions, Blanaru was inspired by stories of feral children, many of whom developed unique ways of moving and expressing themselves while in isolation.

Qui, Ora
A bare stage. The rustle of a raincoat. The evocative voice of Johnny Cash. Catarzi’s beautiful, precise movements flow from her reaction to short soundscapes. Instinctive and immediate, her impromptu gestures emerge in the moment, as if led by an invisible thread.
