Touch tour with Bríd Ní Ghruagáin

Led by Bríd Ní Ghruagáin, this touch tour of Vague Symptom Clinic by Ciarán Ó Dochartaigh will feature a range of tactile resources, created by Bríd and the artist, to explore the shape, size, and materials of the displayed artworks.

Tactile tours provide an accessible and engaging experience for visitors with disabilities, including those who are blind or have low vision. By enabling hands-on interaction with artworks, these tours provide opportunities to contextualise the artwork on display through touch, sound, and other sensory elements.

Additionally, Bríd will be available throughout the day to offer audio description and serve as a sighted guidefor other events, supporting accessibility for attendees throughout the day.
