We are back for the 10th edition of Top 8 Street Dance Battle, which showcases Irish Street Dance and Hip-Hop culture.
This October, Top 8 Street Dance Battle returns to Dublin for its 10th edition — and it promises to be one to be a part of!
Join Ireland’s leading Hip Hop and Street Dance ambassadors for a weekend of Workshops, Cyphers, Battles, Turntablism, Graffiti and MCees.
Talent from across the country and around the globe go head-to-head in the dance battles final, following pre-selections held earlier that day.
Join us for talks from Irish street dance pioneers to share and exchange knowledge. Workshops open to all to learn from international guests artists.
The day will close with a social party where the DJs will be providing music from around the world. Expect a unique atmosphere, with DJs, Irish Mcees cyphering to live Instrumentals, and exchanges between national and internationally artists.
Take this is as your calling card to experience the heartbeat of Street Dance and Hip-Hop culture in its purest form.

About Top 8
Founded in 2010 and reformed by Tobi Omoteso and Deborah O’Connor in 2014, Top 8 champions all four pillars of Hip Hop: Breakin’, DJing, MCing, and Graffiti. Dedicated to elevating Ireland’s street dance scene, Top 8 supports a diverse range of styles including Breakin’, Poppin’, Hip Hop, Afro, and K.R.U.M.P.
Creating a space for artists in the genre to share, exchange, collaborate and have fun, embodying the ethos of Hip-Hop which is Love, Unity and Respect.

Dancers, please note that if you were picked at the preselection event, you do not have to purchase a dance battle ticket.
If you are a member of the general public who would like to watch the final battle, or a dancer who did not make it to the final battle and also wish to watch the final battle, a ticket will be required to enter this event.
Please note that if you wish to attend both the Preselection and Dance Battle event, you can avail of these for a total of €18 by adding them both to your basket at checkout. You must book a ticket to each event you wish to attend.
