DON MURPHY
by Tom McIntyre
A special dramatised workshop reading of a new play by Tom McIntyre Don Murphy, a contemporary Don Quixote, has spent his life avoiding life. At the last minute, he decides to 'go for it', make his mark, and, for good measure, find his dream-love. We come to realize that he understands, better than most, the marvels loose on the world. His journey can only go one way but the trip has a kind of comic heroism. What really grips us, however, is that this fantastical caper takes us on a trip into our own dark corridors.
