This month at The Sweet Spot in Project Arts Centre, we’re teaming up with Elvin Ojuka for a mask making workshop, while Sweet Spot host Blkcnvs brings the riddims.
The Sweet Spot: November Edition
Mask Making Workshop with Elvin Ojuka & Sweet Spot Social
30 October 2026
Together we’ll explore mask making traditions across different cultures to create our own ceremonial Masks of Play. Masks worn to access our inner child, rediscover play, let loose and dance!
Workshop spaces are limited, 15 people max, and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
If you don’t grab a workshop spot, you’re still very welcome to join us for the night. Our standard €7.50 tickets, which include a complimentary drink will still be available, so you can pull up, unwind, and enjoy the Sweet Spot ambiance.
For workshop guests your ticket also includes a free drink & access to The Sweet Spot Social. Come for the workshop, stay for the music, and maybe leave with a new friend to dance with.
Secure your ticket. Don’t wait for your friend to make up their mind – take your fun seriously!
House Rules:
• Come with an open mind—to music & people.
• Respect & look after each other.
• Feel free to take up space but remember to leave space for others.
• Enjoy the moment while it lasts and forget about your phone.
• If you feel the riddims… DANCE!
Rialacha an Tí:
• Tar le hintinn oscailte – leis an gceol agus na daoine
• Bíodh meas agus cúram agat do chuile duine
• Glacaigí spaś ach bí cinnte spás a fhágáil do dhaoine eile
• Bainigí sult as agus déan dearmad ar do ghuthán
• Má mhothaíonn tú an rithim – bí ag DAMHSA
