Ireland. The near future. You sit down with a cup of tay, and tune in to RTÉ Radio 1 to catch The Definitive View with Sneachta Ní Mhurchú: your favourite arty interview and playback show, featuring the quirkiest, murkiest Irish radio from the past week, hosted by Ireland’s most popular self-important presenter. A brand new comedy radio play with a live musical soundtrack, in the tradition of The Goons and Scrap Saturday.
Four actors perform all 71 characters, as well as every sound effect and commercial, with a world class duo of cello and piano performing a live musical soundtrack onstage.

"Pitch-perfect parody of RTE radio" - Irish Independent

Warnings
Gentle swearing, nothing too bad!

Cast: Eva Bartley, Gus McDonagh, Kalle Ryan, Sean McDonagh
Musicians: Orla McDonagh, Ailbhe McDonagh
Writer: Kalle Ryan
Director: John Morton
Producers: Lara Hickey and Kalle Ryan

About the Company
The Brownbread Mixtape started life as a raucous, fun, monthly themed event in The Stag's Head with MC Kalle Ryan at the helm, and for 7 years they showcased the best contemporary Irish musicians and spoken word artists, earning the show a cult following and regular festival slots. Every month the resident sketch troupe, The Brownbread Players, would also perform hilarious original radio-style comedy in the spirit of The Goons and Scrap Saturday. As the show's popularity grew (especially the growing love for the original sketch comedy) the time came to leap forward into the world of producing and touring original long form work, which led to the award nominated Fringe show The Definitive View with Sneachta Ní Mhurchu. In addition to its newfound theatrical touring status, The Brownbread Mixtape is also vying for the title of "greatest thing since sliced brown bread". The quest continues.
