As part of the Dublin Fringe Festival | presented by Alessandra Azeviche
Imagine finally achieving clarity after years of feeling underestimated and alienated – only to have a team of men shuffle you into a psychiatric ward.
Terra is one woman’s quest to extract beauty from the chaos as she strips away the layers of society’s expectations.
In her immersive debut, Azeviche channels her seductive alter-ego (Rita) and the wisdom of ancestors, infusing modern dance, vogue, and afro-futurism into a breathtaking dissection of intersectionality. Terra offers a perspective on Afro-Brazilian femininity and dance that will resonate deep from the soil leaving audiences touched and inspired.
