Biographies
Hanan Sheedy is an independent theatre maker based in Cork City. He has presented original works at Cork Midsummer Festival, (‘SLSD’ 2017 & ‘DARRELL’ 2021) and Dublin Fringe Festival (‘SLSD’ 2017). He creates new experimental theatre through writing, directing and allowing cross-discipline collaboration to shape the making process. His work explores human relationships, expression and bending theatrical form. Hanan also works as a facilitator, lighting designer and production manager.

What happens when your protective layer cracks and trust breaks down?
Emerging from artistic research with the National Sculpture Factory, SKIN is a powerfully personal story of living with Eczema and how it feels to question whether your body will work or wilt. Cork-based artist Hanan Sheedy’s design-led approach to theatre features visual art and design from Jenny Whyte, sound design by Tyler Kieffer, and performances from Bláithín MacGabhann and James Brown.
