Large-scale action is required immediately, but urgency must not be an excuse to violate human rights.

Pom Boyd is a performer/writer and environmental activist. Recently she appeared in TV comedies Frank of Ireland and The Dry. A New Netflix series set in West Cork will be released in 2023. Pom has been campaigning to Save the Iveagh Gardens since 2017.
Dr. Laura Kehoe is an environmental scientist and activist. She uses protest, science and art to help protect the living world. She is the founder of 400trees.org, EUBrazilTrade.org, and Dear Green Santa.
Brian Cuthbert is the Director of Campaigns and Technology at Uplift. Before joining Uplift he was active in campaigning at grassroots level in the areas of International Trade and Climate.
Orla Murphy is a 21 year old from Cork currently living in Glasgow. They've been focusing full time on direct action since April of last year when they dropped out of college and went to prison for throwing paint at the Department of Foreign Affairs, calling out the governments empty promises on climate action. Over the last year or so they've been part of oil terminal blockades, marches, swarms. They've thrown paint at a prison to protest their friend's incarceration for 7 months without trial. They spent 5 weeks in prison in Ireland, have been arrested in Ireland, Scotland and England all to call attention to the climate crisis and show we can do more than just voting or "ethically" consuming - we can unite in civil resistance to shut down this system that is leading us over a clif to climate collapse.
