Biographies
Brokentalkers are a multi-award winning Dublin based theatre company, led by Co-Artistic.
Directors Feidlim Cannon and Gary Keegan with Creative Producer Rachel Bergin.
Brokentalkers make formally ambitious work that defies categorization and have built a reputation as one of Ireland’s most innovative and original theatre companies.
Their working method is founded on a collaborative process that draws on the skills and experiences of a large and diverse group of contributors from different disciplines and backgrounds.
Adrienne Truscott’s work crosses lines and methodologies from dance, theater, comedy and performance art; these iterations appear as drag club acts as well as evening-length pieces; dances to one-lady plays; group pieces to solos.
Her work is sophisticated and accessible and actively works against elitist aesthetics and practices in arts presentation.

Following an award-winning international tour MASTERCLASS returns to Project Arts Centre. Featuring the savagely comedic feminist discourse of Adrienne Truscott with the slippery dramaturgy of Brokentalkers, MASTERCLASS parodies the “great male artist” to within an inch of his life in order to uncover some difficult truths about privilege and power.
The show begins in the form of a cockamamie masterclass performed by fed up feminist Adrienne Truscott and all around good guy Feidlim Cannon. It’s fun. It’s familiar. There are wigs. But there is something more at play.
Using the arts world as a metaphor, MASTERCLASS is a literate and hilarious examination of gender and power.
