It's Always Your Bleedin' Own

Breadline in Association with Project Arts Centre

2 - 14 December

Book Now

Everyone’s saying Dublin is Dead.

That Anna Liffey finally choked on her diet of aparthotels, luxury student accommodation and oat iced flat whites, before drowning herself in the fountain we dumped her in.

Well, everyone is WRONG, Helen!

Because BREADLINE brings It’s Always Your Bleedin’ Own to Project Arts Centre this December.  A celebration of the beating heart of Dublin’s inner city, It’s Always Your Bleedin’ Own is the unfiltered, hilarious, and gut-punching story of the intertwined lives of Kian, Amber & Dazzy that’s here to give Dublin life.

Lower the rents, open the clubs and let them have a bop!

It’s time to look past the riots and narratives that are sold to you about D1 and come and hear the real story – where resilience meets humour and grit meets glamour.

Yup the flats!

Written by TKB. Directed by Ronan Phelan. Starring Ericka Roe, Lloyd Cooney and Cameron Hogan, It’s Always Your Bleedin’ Own is a call to get your glad rags on and get out and keep the city lit this Christmas.

On Sat 7th, join us for a one time only experience not to be missed, the chance to see TKB’s St. Mary’s Mansions Trilogy in its totality. Each play is a stand alone work. You don’t need to see one to enjoy the other. But they all sing from the same unapologetically nitty hymn sheet. A reading of Vol l: Say Nothin’ To No One at 1:30pm, followed by a reading of Vol II: Well That’s What I Heard at 4pm and then a performance of Vol lll: It’s Always Your Bleedin‘ Own at 7:30pm.

Grab a ticket for each of the two readings for €10 individually or join us for all three instalments as one for €30: Vol I: Say Nothin’ To No One: A Reading, Vol II: Well That’s What I Heard: A Reading and Vol lll: It’s Always Your Bleedin’ Own: A Production.

Group Group Press Quotes

“The theatre is always looking for distinctive new voices. The worsening problem on these shores, however, is how seldom it seems to find them. That has not been a problem for TKB, a young writer and performer of such energetic force that he already goes by an acronym. Catch him while you can…” – Peter Crawley, THE IRISH TIMES

“Breadline embody the stories they tell because they are of these communities. They are the heart, the humour, the struggle and the togetherness contained within their work. They tell lived stories of people they love.” – Gary Gannon, Social Democrats TD for Central Dublin

“Breadline’s work is rich in stories, history and grit. A side of Dublin that is often missed out on or rarely from the horse’s mouth in theatre.” – Gemma Dunleavy, Musical Artist

“TKB is a vibrant and unique voice in our Irish Theatre ecology. His world view is brash and high octane – with a fresh and vibrant spin on working class life – all of which is mirrored in his writing.” – Philip McMahon, Writer, Director, Co-Director of THISISPOPBABY
