DUBLIN FRINGE FESTIVAL

Dublin Fringe Festival '07 is Ireland's leading multi-disciplinary festival of contemporary performing arts. THE CONVENT, 8.15PM, 17-22 SEPT, €17/14conc)

JO STROMGREN

In a remote valley, three nuns are serving time in a small convent. The divine harmony is long gone and the friendly atmosphere is about to reach rock bottom. A complete lack of signs from above is not making it any easier, nor is the lack of bread and water. This all- female cast is renowned for its extraordinary physical and often hilarious presentation of controversial themes, as well as their absurdist use of language. HOW DID WE GET HERE?, 6.30PM, 18-22 SEPT, €17/14 (conc)

CIOTÓG

This humorous, engaging and athletic look at the draw of theatre and performance examines the motivations behind people's attendance at shows. A seductive piece which invites the audience to question their presence in a small black box shared by expectant eyes and moving bodies. ALL DOLLED UP, 10PM, 18-22 SEPT, €15/12.50 (conc)

PANTI AND THIS IS POP BABY

Join the Queen of Ireland, Pandora 'Panti' Bliss for a candid and course comic lecture and guided tour through the twisted back alleys of her mind. Using her trademark wit, humour and wigs, Panti exposes the stories behind the make-up, revealing what has made her the self-made man-made woman she is today. SEEDS 3 READINGS SEVEN YEARS AND SEVEN HOURS

BY LISA MCGEE

Frankie's been doing time for seven years. Bored with life and excited and horrified by the serial killings of local schoolgirls, now even his brother Andrew may stop paying him visits. What is the truth hidden by the fog of the past and what does it have to do with what's inside that box?
