The Dublin Comedy Improv is one of the longest running entirely improvised shows in Ireland – the team are literally the oldest (and coolest) improvisers in town! Players Joe Rooney, Michelle Read, Graeme Singleton and Sharon Mannion bring the improv’s spur-of-the moment, whip-sharp ribaldry to the Project Arts Centre this year for Bealtaine 2025. This is comedy play-time with the grown-ups!
The show is entirely unscripted, based on audience suggestions, á la Whose Line Is It Anyway, and is 100% guaranteed to be “absolutely amazing” and “hilariously funny” (Hot Press).
Ireland’s national celebration of the arts and creativity as we age, marks three decades of vibrant, fun, and contemporary festivities in 2025. This milestone edition will unfold across Ireland throughout the month of May, offering an expansive lineup of performances and activities that champion generational interdependence and diversity. From beautiful poetry to comedy showcases and immersive storytelling experiences, attendees can expect a diverse array of events that embrace the Bealtaine Festival theme, “Lust for Life”, inspired by the Iggy Pop classic hit.
