Avril Corroon will give an online artist talk presenting her practice along with research ideas for her artwork DAMP TANK which will be hosted at Project Arts Centre through-out the year.

As part of the open research project on housing Clear Away the Rubble/ Glan an Spallaí ar Shiúl, Corroon is launching a collection point for damp DAMP TANK. Taking the simple form of a water barrel, Corroon is specifically looking for donations of damp in watery state extracted from the air of households through dehumidifiers. Instead of discarding what’s collected in the dehumidifier tanks, Corroon invites you to bottle it up and pour into DAMP TANK. DAMP TANK will initially be placed in Project's gallery and subsequently be hosted in Project's foyer, plumbing damp donations through the building. Ongoing donations will be welcomed throughout the year and the resulting volume will be used in the making of an artwork.
