Battles: Jaiva Afrodance Festival
9 August 2026
This is where the energy lives. JAIVA Afrodance Battle is a space for dancers to step into the circle, express, and represent the culture.
It’s not just about winning, it’s about sharing our presence, musicality, connection, and how we show up and show out. Come and join the best of the best in Ireland battle it out. This event is open and available to anyone.
Choose your lane:
1v1 Afro Battle Beginner: if you are new to afro or are new to dance and would like to step in the ring, dancing purely to afro music, here is your chance.
1v1 Afro Battle Grandslam: Battle the best of the best for Ireland’s best Afrodance crown in the grand slam of the night, purely to afro music as well.
2v2 Afro Battle*: Bring a friend, and together show us what you’ve got, dancing purely to afro music.
