Anhedonia

This is what I’ve learned about life and death and what happens before and after and all the things about these fascinating questions that have tormented philosophers for years and years.

Anhedonia is a dark comedy that explores mental health issues in Ireland and how we face them. After a year of developing the text, we are opening this work-in-progress presentation for one night only, offering a first glimpse of what we have discovered. With actors having worked on the material through just three meetings, is it an enhanced rehearsal? A glorified reading? The bare bones of a play? A testimony to what actors can achieve in their initial explorations? A complete theatre experience in its own right? A conceptual mess? Perhaps all of the above. There’s only one way to find out.
