About Ahmed Eid
Ahmed Eid is one of the most influential Palestinian artists of his generation. His music tells stories of origin, resistance, hope, and freedom – tales of liberation he brings to life with his distinctive musical language, blending electrifying rhythms with poetic lyrics, all while nurturing the next generations of creatives.
Ahmed Eid’s early days growing up in Palestine and two decades spanning career in Europe as co-founder of the internationally acclaimed band Bukahara made Eid into a transcendentant bassist, percussionist and singer-songwriter, pouring his spirit into the creation of eclectic sounds that have echoed across global stages.
Opening a new chapter with his solo debut EP “Aghani Akhira أغاني اخيرة ” (Last Songs) in 2024, Ahmed Eid reached deeper into personal and global experiences of patriarchal violence and colonialism. His current shows already given a first glimpse of his second album, “min ghazze labaghdad, min haifa la beirut” which will be released in 2026.
Beyond the spotlight, Ahmed’s unwavering commitment to nurturing emerging talents and alternative music scenes is reflected in the “Palestine Music Space” in Ramallah. This space creates a place where young talents can learn, record, experiment, and form a new sense of rockstardom and cultural liberation. The tour will be collecting donations for the Palestine Music Space.
