10 Years of Glasshouse
11 December 2026
“Glasshouse are among the highest calibre of musicians the nation has to offer.” Nialler9
Over ten years, Glasshouse has brought classical and contemporary instrumentation to new audiences, presenting new arrangements of popular music and commissioning new work by Irish artists.
The ensemble has sold out the National Concert Hall with arrangements of Björk, Sigur Rós and Ryuichi Sakamoto, played Galway International Arts Festival and Pavilion Theatre, and premiered its first opera, Hysterically Shopping!, at Dublin Theatre Festival 2026.
To mark the anniversary, Glasshouse takes over Project Arts Centre for one night. Across the Space Upstairs, the Cube and the bar, two resident ensembles perform new arrangements by Aran O’Grady and Lucia Rice made with Roger Doyle & Olwen Fouéré, Jasmine Wood and Saoirse Miller, alongside sets from Nash Paints, E The Artist and Emmy Shigeta, and their concert of the music of Aphex Twin.
Expect a very special night as Glasshouse take over the Big Blue Building and give a flavour of all that has been over these past ten years.
