Blue Raincoat Theatre Company presents...
From the team that created Shackleton and The Third Policeman, Blue Raincoat Theatre Company bring their newly devised work, The Last Pearl, to Project Arts Centre.
The Last Pearl is loosely based on the ideas of environmentalist James Lovelock and was first presented to the public in Sligo in the Autumn of 2022. A strongly visual theatre piece using scaled models as well as bunraku and shadow puppetry. The Last Pearl tells the story of a woman and her young daughter, in the aftermath of a typhoon, as they scavenge and explore a dying world. It is a story of their ability to adapt to a dying world and ultimately survive.
Just announced: join us for a post-show talk with the cast and director of The Last Pearl on Weds 8th May!
