Homebeat presents
Join us for an evening of cutting-edge, contemporary Irish music, presented by Homebeat.
Katie Kim | Mood is central to the expansive musical landscape of Katie Kim. Darkened corners, icy atmospheres and hypnotic knife edge soundscapes. Piano chords stretch to infinity. Cinematic in scope and tectonic in delivery. A slowcore waltz at the bottom of the ocean, steeped in gloomy ambience. Tension tugs at the heart with this euphoric exploration into the depths of darkness and light.
Katie Kim’s newest album ‘Hour Of The Ox’ was released on 9 September to critically acclaim.
Jonny Dillon | Better known for his analogue electronic music productions and all-hardware live sets under the ‘Automatic Tasty’ moniker [Lunar Disko, CPU, Wrong Island], Jonny’s records (bearing heavy acid and electro influences), along with live appearances at venues like Berlin’s Panorama Bar and Kiev’s Closer belie the fact that he has been quietly exploring the musical landscape of the guitar for nearly twenty years. Jonny arrives to Project Arts Centre with his new album of guitar work ‘A New Directive From The Bureau Of Compulsory Entertainment’ LP coming soon from All City Records.
