A panel discussion which addresses and reviews contemporary Irish playwrights in translation

Presented as part of Active Archive - Slow Institution: The Long Goodbye the gallery will play host to a special screening event of two projects that were commissioned by Project Arts Centre as part of the Off Site visual arts programme (1998-1999). Sandra Johnston  and Ronan McCrea will present visual materials about their work projects and will be joined in conversation by writer and curator Valerie Connor who worked with the artists on their projects.

On 29 March the gallery will host a special event inviting the participating artists who were commissioned by Project Arts Centre as part of ‘The Long Goodbye’ exhibition for a conversation about their works and to share related photographic, moving image, textual and sound materials.

The Young Critics’ Panel returns to Dublin Theatre Festival for a twelfth year.

“Foul, Filthy, Stinking Muck” looks at the LGBT theatre of Project Arts Centre from 1967 up to 2000, interrogating the role of Project as an artist-led organisation and considering how it has informed contemporary queer theatre.
