Discover some of Temple Bar’s best keep secrets as three city centre arts organisations - Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, Gallery of Photography and Project Arts Centre - join forces for a guided walking tour through their current exhibitions, and offer an insight into contemporary art in Ireland. Led by a team of friendly staff this is a chance for you to take a glimpse into the world of contemporary art, and ask all the question you always wanted to know the answers to.

‘An exploded and bewitched house with a floating roof’ – this is how Australian artist Mikala Dwyer describes her solo exhibition, an exhibition that marks the first time her work will be shown in Ireland. Dwyer ascribes deep symbolic meaning to the objects and artifacts she works with, evoking them as spiritual signifiers and using them to herald a community.

Three of Dublin’s city centre contemporary galleries – Project Arts Centre, Temple Bar Gallery + Studios and Gallery of Photography – are joining forces to offer a guided walking tour that takes place across these venues.

Live Collision has partnered with Berlin Opticians Gallery to co-present this once off event. ‘No Feeling Is Final’ is an interdisciplinary experiment inclusive of two new paintings by Lee Welch created for LCIF2019, and existing artworks by Liliane Puthod.

This rich body of work highlights some of the recurring subjects and forms in his films and installations, while also declaring the breadth and diversity of his practice through the constant evolution of artworks.

January’s tour will begin at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios with Otobong Nkanga's first solo exhibiion in Ireland, The Breath From Fertile Grounds. Visitors will be guided to the next venue, the Gallery of Photography for the exhibition of Krass Clement‘s work entitled The Light Gleams an Instant. The tour will finish with a visit to Project Arts Centre to take in the docu-fiction project by Szabolcs KissPál, From Fake Mountains to Faith (Hungarian Trilogy).
