A dark and menacing exhibition, originally inspired by all things Gothic, King Rat presents a series of artworks by some of visual arts most original international voices. The gallery will transform in to a space filled with a sense of unease and discomfort, the stuff that nightmares are made of.

Katya Sander’s A Landscape of Known Facts is a newly commissioned artwork that will completely transform the gallery of Project Arts Centre. Sander’s landscape is projected like a lighthouse, a beam that scans the circular room in a slow, continuous, 360degree evolution.

The general public are invited to attend and participate in this Aion Experiment which will takes place at Dublin’s Project Arts Centre between the 12 February and the 12 April 2010. This experiment differs greatly from some of the more intensive previous Aion Experiments in which volunteers remained under close observation for prolonged periods.

Clodagh Emoe will present a space filled with the essence of ritual, where events – occult or banal – are bound to take place.

Project Arts Centre is proud to present the newly commissioned installation of two films by Lonnie van Brummelen & Siebren de Haan, in the exhibition Monument to Another Man’s Fatherland.

An exhibition stimulated by layers and interpretations of myth. Is there such a thing as an authentic myth? Does the truth of a myth lie in its roots and origins, or in the context of its retelling?
