The music is powered by adventurous ensemble writing and improvising and each performance is fiercely unique. Multiple instruments generate multiple sounds and the result is a genre-hopping musical journey. The ZoiD Ensemble formed in 2006 to play new electro-acoustic, contemporary, free and jazz compositions, as well as arrangements of electronic works by composers such as Aphex Twin and Squarepusher.
