With an ensemble of ten performers, Enjoy takes you inside the minds of a lost generation of 20-something part-time workers in a comic book café. Some of them are getting older…

Zoe Ní Riordáin directs the Irish premiere of Enjoy by internationally acclaimed Japanese playwright Toshiki Okada as part of the Rough Magic Theatre Company SEEDS Showcase.

Theatre director and musician Zoe Ní Riordáin approaches Okada’s hyper-colloquial script with her distinct style. Through this experimental play looks at the possibilities of interpretation and the idea of authenticity.

Zoe Ní Riordáin co-wrote and directed The Well Rested Terrorist (Peacock Theatre, Tiger Dublin Fringe 2014) At Project Arts Centre, she directed The Lesson by Eugene Ionesco in May 2013. Zoe is a member of contemporary band Maud in Cahoots.

Toshiki Okada is a groundbreaking playwright, theatre director and novelist. His theatre company chelfitsch premiered in Ireland with Ground and Floor as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival 2013.
