When you struggle to find a place for yourself,
When the world around you changes all the time,
When it’s not like you remember,
You need to find your niche.
Choreographer Fearghus Ó Conchúir made Niche in Dublin at the tail-end of Irelands building boom. In the gloom that followed, Niche celebrates our ability to work together and adapt to new circumstances. In this nationwide tour, Niche continues to adapt offering each audience a tailor-made show: for each performance, local dancers will join the international cast of Niche, bringing a new flavour to the work. The result is Open Niche
Open Niche can be seen at the following venues around Ireland:
Friday 19 March – Pavilion Theatre (Dun Laoghaire)
Wednesday 24 March – Daghda Space in association with Belltable Arts Centre and the Irish World Academy of Music (Limerick)
Saturday 27 March – Hawk’s Well Theatre (Sligo)
Tuesday 30 March – Siamsa Tire (Tralee)
Thursday 1 April – Firkin Crane (Cork)
