Before Talkies by Ray Scannell
A young man is living vicariously through various media. Phone, laptop, fiction… an attempt to narrate his past through film; Thriving bachelor and Grandfather Viv is landed with his troublesome Grandson Justin, left mute after an accident. Using Silent Film music and imagery, (marking a development in technology which changed an Art form forever), Before Talkies explores our ever evolving relationship with technology.
Before Talkies development has been supported by Fishamble: The New Play Company’s New Play Clinic scheme and by the Arts Council New Work Award.
Orchid by Adam Fearon An immersive performative installation A performance without performers. The audience are both subject matter and material for this piece. Isolated in darkness and compelled to understand your surroundings through the images that flash before you, Orchid is a work that questions what it means to observe, to represent and to perceive.

Seating
Our seating is unreserved so you will choose your seat on the night of the performance. We advise you to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time as we are unable to seat patrons once a performance has begun.
