ROYAL COURT THEATRE AND PENTABUS THEATRE COMPANY Leaving Romania to pursue a career in showbusiness, Madalina finds herself working in a Dublin kebab shop. Fortunately her boyfriend has a better prospect. She’ll be broadcast across the world, watched by thousands. It doesn’t matter that it involves sex with strangers and the occasional bruise, it’s a new start, and surely things will never be as bad as back home.
