HEDDA GABLER/THE DUCHESS OF MALFI

Tickets: 14
Show Time: 8:15pm

“Hedda Gabler”, by Henrik Ibsen, is a savage exposé of the hypocritical masks and roles that people assume in order to protect their private motivations and desires from being revealed. Trapped in a loveless marriage, Hedda contemplates suicide rather than face the prospect of a scandal.. “The Duchess of Malfi” is a performance based on John Webster’s Jacobean text, which tells the story of a Duchess who marries secretly against her family’s will, and is imprisoned, tortured and eventually murdered for her transgression.
This production sold out during the Dublin Fringe Festival last year. (Friday evenings and Saturday matinees only)
