FRAGMENTS – VOLUME 1

Tickets: 22/18
Show Time: 8.00pm

Canada
Three solos and one duet: a collection of exquisite dances that reach into the soul of human vulnerability. Prolific Canadian choreographer Sylvain Émard has crafted four contrasting worlds that place the dancers at the very heart of the work. Uncovering their most urgent needs and deepest secrets, these fragments are tributes to the artists performing them.
Veteran Canadian actress Monique Miller offers a touching and minimalist performance, a portrait of profound loneliness. Her small, detailed movements contrast with the raw energy of the three exceptional dancers Kimberley de Jong, Georges-Nicolas Tremblay and Manuel Roque. Intense, surprising and absolutely compelling.
