Cosán Dearg, literally ‘red path’ is used to describe ground worn by the frequent tread of footsteps. It is a physical metaphor for compulsion, repetition and attachment.
For Cosán Dearg, choreographer Fearghus Ó Conchúir has collaborated with theatre director Jason Byrne and composer Julie Feeney to create a dance performance that unfolds in an intensely atmospheric environment with strong visuals and a haunting musical score.
