Applications now open for MAKE 2018

November 14th 2017, at 12.23pm

Calling all artists… have you got an idea that needs to be explored or a work in progress that needs a bit more development? Then this is for you.

We’re delighted to be partnering again with our pals at Cork Midsummer, Dublin Fringe Festival and Theatre Forum for another edition of MAKE, our artist development programme and residency.

MAKE is open to Irish and international artists for the purpose of generating new performance work outside of the traditional writer-led model at all career levels.

Since the first MAKE in 2009, over 120 Irish and international artists have been MAKE residents, receiving mentoring support from renowned international theatre makers. Past programmes have borne highly acclaimed performance work and collaborations going on to tour here in Ireland and internationally.

MAKE 2018 will take place from Saturday 24 February to Sunday 4 March 2018 at The Tyrone Guthrie Centre, a centre for creative artists at Annaghmakerrig, Co Monaghan.

The deadline for applications for MAKE 2018 is 6pm, Monday 27 November 2017.
