20-20 June 2009

THE FIRE ROOM & WHEN THE HUNTER RETURNS

Tickets: 15

Two new one act plays presented by the graduating class of the Gaiety School of Acting.

THE FIRE ROOM

Ten strangers. Ten lives. Ten choices.

On a burning hot night in a run-down backpackers hostel, ten strangers must face the biggest test of their lives. A searing new play about courage and chaos in an era of fear.

WHEN THE HUNTER RETURNS

Something is very wrong in Hawthorn. The men are passing away in the night and the women are sewing and grieving, leaving no one to guide the teenagers but each other and the internet. And the internet isn’t what it used to be…

A story about heartbreaking magic, contemporary longing and the dangerous journey to hope.
