Building on the success of the inaugural 2008 programme, the Festival will again provide audiences with an opportunity to see major Irish theatrical works in development before they reach full production on the stage possibly in future Festival programmes. Presented by some of Irelands leading theatre companys In Development will feature rehearsed readings, open rehearsals and semi-staged performances.
Events are free but booking through Festival Box Office is essential.
A new interpretation by Ellen Cranitch and Hilary Fannin based on the opera by Rameau and on Racines Phèdre, featuring traditional Irish musicians.

Our seating is unreserved so you will choose your seat on the night of the performance. We advise you to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time as we are unable to seat patrons once a performance has begun.
